- Arc Raiders update 1.11.0 is here
- It adds a new cosmetic set and makes balance changes to the Kettle and ‘Nades Trigger.
- Trigger ‘Nades quickly became a commonly exploited throwing weapon, and they are now much less effective in fights against other Raiders.
Arc Raiders just received its first balance update of 2026. Update 1.11.0 is now available on all platforms and mainly brings changes to Trigger ‘Nades and the Kettle.
Trigger ‘Nades had been a major point of contention for the Arc Raiders community lately, with many deeming them too powerful in PvP. Now Trigger ‘Nades are less powerful, as detailed in a recent Arc Raiders blog post:
“This nerf aims to make it less usable as an air-fired grenade, while still retaining its usefulness as a sticky bomb. Damage reduction has been rebalanced to concentrate damage closer to the center of the explosion and deal less damage further away.”
The message continues: “The delay between triggering the grenade and detonating it has been increased from 0.7s to 1.5s, giving players more time to react and making it more difficult to time the detonation in mid-air.”
The Kettle weapon also received a slight nerf, although it is unlikely to affect most players. Rate of fire has been reduced from 600 to 450, in an attempt to counter PC players who were using macros to fire the weapon at incredibly high speeds:
“Reduced the rate of fire from 600 to 450. The previous rate of fire was realistically only accessible by players using macros, which creates an unfair dynamic that favors the use of third-party software.”
A new cosmetic set called Abyss has also been added to the store. It has a diving theme, complete with fins and a snug-fitting helmet. Finally, a keycard exploit has been fixed and lighting has been reduced in certain areas of Stella Montis.
Arc Raiders is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Cold Snap update has just finished, ending the Flickering Flames event and expedition start window.
