Arch Manning was a huge draw in the days of the dry media last season, but now that he is officially the quarter-back from the Texas Longhorns, the attention was even greater on Tuesday.
However, this is what Manning wanted, at least in terms of where he plays football.
The nephew of the winning quarters of the Super Bowl Peyton and Eli Manning, as well as the grandson of the Legend of New Orleans, Archie Manning, explained how the transfer of the Longhorns program was never a process of reflection for him.
“I think the essential was that I wanted to be at the University of Texas,” said Manning, via ON3 Sports. “There is nowhere else that I wanted to be, that it was the school itself, Austin, my friends, the football program. So, as long as I continued to go better to football and like where I was, it was obvious to me to stay.”

When Quinn Ewers returned to the 2024 university football season instead of entering the NFL draft, it was assumed that Manning would head elsewhere so that he could start.
Instead, he stayed on Ewers again, and it was necessary for 10 games this season due to his teammate’s injury.

Manning launched for 939 yards with nine passing passers -olds and two interceptions during this period, supplementing 67.8% of its passes.
He also showed a few wheels when he had to return and run, rushing out of 108 yards in 25 races with four touchs also.
Now Manning knows that he has the keys to the coach of coach Steve Sarkisian, and it’s time to show what he can really do when he starts in a coherent way.

The media threshing around Manning is not new, however. As a high hope at the Isidore Newman school, like his father Cooper and his uncles, Manning treated national spotlights, and in turn, comparisons with family members.
Peyton recently talked about “The Pat McAfee Show” of his nephew, where he said that he himself and Eli were surely resources for him. However, he knows that Arch wants to make a name for himself, and his father has done a fantastic job to help him arrive at this point as well.
“You know Pat, Eli and I are his uncles,” Peyton told McAfee. “We are trying to be there as a resource for him, but Cooper did an excellent job with Arch, and they managed all the different things that have somehow came in their own way. I am delighted to watch Arch play. He was very patient. I thought he launched the ball very well.”
Peyton also explained how he liked to see his nephew staying in Texas and learning in the last two seasons.

“He was patient,” said Peyton. “It has been well documented, it has been there for two years. I think so much in controlling the system in which you are. When you have new coordinators each year in the NFL and the college, it is just frustrating for me. I was already lucky. … The fact that Sarkisian calls a huge advantage for him.
“I can’t wait to see him go out on the field. He worked very hard. I love to see him go to this camp for his teammates. He is a good teammate. He is a good winger. I am delighted to go there and watch a few games in Austin.”
