Arch Manning will enter his first season while the quarter-back from Texas Longhorns with high expectations, even if he only started two games in his young career.
Mack Brown, a former chief coach from Texas and Caroline du Nord, made another crazy comparison with Manning, comparing him at the legendary Longhorns Vince Young.

“He also seems to be listening. He is very humble,” said Brown in a recent appearance on “The Stampede”. “He said that too much had been written on me, more than I did. I mean, he is a bit self-fulfilled. But I like it. He is a lot like Vince at the same age.”
Young didn’t need to launch too much in its second season when the team went up to the back of Cedric Benson in the back field. It was his junior season in which he broke out, won the Big 12 offensive Player of the Year Award and led the Longhorns to a superb victory of the National Championship against the USC. He had 3,036 yards by the pass and 26 Touché passes this season.

Brown also liked the way Manning managed when he appeared the dry Media Days last week and how he avoided questions about what other coaches had said about him.
Manning is more polite with the media than most – and he had a lot of models to admire. He is the son of Cooper Manning, who was a full -fledged high school football, and the nephew of the Super Bowl Peyton and Eli Manning champions. He is also the grandson of Archie Manning.
The line is there, but soon it will be time to be silent and play football.
