Joe Burrow finished one of the biggest university football seasons of all time when he set the record for a season for Touché passes (60) on his way to a national championship in 2019.
The former quarter-back in western Kentucky, Bailey Zappe, finally broke the Burrow record by launching 62 passes in 2021. But the season of the Burrow National Championship in LSU is something that seemed to have stuck with his former head coach Ed Orgeron.

While the world of sport was preparing for the next university football season, Orgeron said that he saw a little earthworks in the quarter of Texas Longhorns Arch Manning.
“I had the opportunity to go to Texas and speak to their clinic,” he said on Barstool Sports “forgive my catch”. “And I looked at training. Now we knew Arch Manning like a young child from Louisiana. He liked Joe Brady. We looked at him (as a recruit). But I looked at his practice (in Texas).

“And I will say that conservative – and we have recruited (current quarter -arre of LSU) Garrett (Nussmeier) – Garrett is a great player. … But Arch is as close – or perhaps as good as – Joe (Burrow) as I saw him. And I never said about anyone.”
Manning will have the eyes of the world of university football and the world of NFL looking closely. He will pass his first major test on August 30 when the Longhorns face the national reigning champion Ohio State Buckeyes. Without forgetting that Texas was classified n ° 1 in the Top 25 pre-season university football survey.

“I don’t really know how they had these opinions because I only played, what? Two games?” Manning said recently. “I guess it’s good to tell them, but that doesn’t mean anything. Talking is cheap, I have to prove it.”
