Austrian and American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger had to admit that it took a lot of practice to nail the tango scene with the Canadian actor Carrie-Anne Moss for season 2 of the series of comedy Netflix “Fubar”.
“We have practiced. We practiced a lot, and she didn’t need as much practice as I am, but I really practiced,” the former California governor in Reuters told.
The actor “Terminator” remembers having made the first take for the dance scene and impressing everyone with his preparation.
“They just thought we repeated, but they didn’t know we were prepared for the whole,” said Schwarzenegger with a smile.
Season 2 of “Fubar”, created by Nick Santora and produced by Skydance Television and Blackjack Films, was presented on Netflix last Thursday.
The story follows Luke Brunner, played by Schwarzenegger and his daughter Emma, played by Monica Barbaro, who are both CIA agents.
Their colleagues member of the CIA team include Barry Putt, played by Milan Carter, Boro Polonia, played by Gabriel Luna, Roo Russell, played by Fortune Feimster and Aldon Reese, represented by Travis Van Winkle.
In season 2, Brunner is back to work with his CIA team, but things take an unexpected turn when he meets his ex-friend Greta Nelson, played by Carrie-Anne Moss.
Greta is a former Est-Germany spy who ends up facing Brunner in Tango and a fighting battle.
“Most of my scenes are with Arnold, so we have developed this incredible friendship,” said Carrie-Anne.
Schwarzenegger humorously recalled the actor “matrix” bringing what he described as “secret oil” on the set and putting him behind his ears before shooting a scene.
“The peppermint oil. I am a large peppermint oil or simply a person of essential oil,” said Carrie-Anne.
“It was like a magic power because as soon as it coated the stuff behind my ears, I mean it was like” Pum! “And we were in a way out of the door to make our scenes in the most perfect way,” added Schwarzenegger.
