The Pakistan Olympic hero, Arshad Nadeem, once again proven his domination in the field by obtaining a place in the final of the male javelin throw at the 2025 Asian athletic championships with a superb 86.34 meter throw on his very first attempt according to private information chains.
In competition in group A during the qualification round, the powerful launch of Nadeem immediately placed it at the top of the ranking and confirmed his qualification for the final, scheduled for May 31 at 1:10 p.m. Pakistan (PKT).
This marks its first major international appearance since its 92.97 m gold medal record for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Pakistani bleach Yasir Sultan, who qualified for group B, joined the Pakistani javelin launcher Yasir Sultan, who qualified for group B with a respectable effort of 76.7 million. The duo is part of a compact team of five members of Pakistani athletics in competition currently in Gumi, South Korea.
Nadeem, who has recently been honored with the best price of Asian Athletics Association Athlete, aims to add another gold medal to her growing collection, which includes titles from the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and other regional competitions.

This launch strengthens its status as the first athletics athletes in Asia and a competitor of the solid medal. The Pakistan athletic federation expressed confidence in the team, stressing their ambition not only to compete but to win.

“This is the first major event after the Olympic Games, and I have been working hard for five months,” said Nadeem earlier. “I do not compete with anyone else – my competition is with Arshad Nadeem himself.”
Previously, Nadeem was named the best Asian athlete by Asian athletics, which recognized its remarkable achievements on the continental scene.
The 2025 Asian Athletics Championships have more than 2,000 athletes from 43 countries. With the most decorated athlete in Pakistan in the form of a point, national hopes are raised for another podium finish.
Nadeem will go to England after this championship to start the preparations for the world athletics championships in September.
