Karachi:
The management of the movement and the security of the VIP routes at all airports across the country, including Karachi, was given to the safety force of the airport (ASF), confirmed official sources on Tuesday.
They have said that the ASF will now be fully responsible for the security of the VIP track and the 2 route in all airports, hence Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) and private security companies will no longer be authorized to manage or control access to these specific routes.
The sources said that the decision had been made for increased security problems.
