The ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 Trophy has been revealed, adding to the anticipation surrounding the eight nations tournament which will take place today in the United Arab Emirates (Water) (Tuesday).

The president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Mohin Naqvi, who is also the chief of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), carried out the ceremony of disclosure.

The event saw the representation of the captains of all the teams participating in the tournament.

Asia Cup 2025 will start with Afghanistan facing Minnides Hong Kong at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav declared during the trophy unveiling ceremony that his team was “just as excited” for the Asian Cup, describing the Twenty20 format as very difficult, where “any team can offer an extraordinary performance”.

Group B presents Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. The two main sides of each group will go to the Super Four stage, with the last scheduled for September 28 in Dubai.

All matches will start at 6:00 p.m. the standard Gulf time (7 PST), with the exception of the September 15 luminaire between the water and Oman.

Former Great Akram, Pakistan’s big fast blow, urged players and fans on both sides to stay disciplined and not cross the line during high-tension Pakistani-Indian matches.
