The new permanent representative of Pakistan at the United Nations, the Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, presented his skills titles on Wednesday to the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.
Speaking on occasion, the Ambassador Asim reaffirmed Pakistan’s unshakable commitment to multilateralism and the principles of the United Nations Charter. The United Nations congratulated him on his new role and expressed his best wishes for a successful mandate.
Ambassador Asim replaced the ambassador Munir Akram, who left his post as permanent representative of Pakistan at the UN after finishing his mandate on March 31, 2025.
