At least 11 people were injured in a stab in a Walmart store in the Midwest Michigan state on Saturday, the police said because the police confirmed that a suspect was in detention.
“We can confirm that 11 victims are treated” following the City Traverse attack, the Munson Medical Center said in a press release on social networks.
Michigan state police said the authorities were investigating “a multiple stab incident” at the Walmart City Store.
“The suspect is in detention, the details are limited for the moment,” added the police.
The hospital said it was experiencing a “higher volume than usual patients”.
Crossing City is a popular tourist destination thanks to its proximity to Lake Michigan and the other large lakes.
