Lahore: In a shocking accident, at least five people died when a fast speed withdrawal truck collided with rickshaws and motorcycles after its brake failed in Baghbanpura on Wednesday.

The Dumper Truck collided with three rickshaws and two motorcycles, also injuring four people. The accident took place near the AAKHRI minutes stop in the capital of Punjab, according to the rescue authorities.

Among the dead, two little girls Aima and Hafza, a ripe pousse driver and a motorcycle driver have been identified, while a person remains unidentified.

The bodies were transferred to the Shalimaar hospital. In addition, the injured were also admitted to the same hospital.

The Dumper Private truck was hired by Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) and it was carrying Shadmaan waste on the way to Baghbanpura for the deposit.

The Dumper moved at high speed and, therefore, he found himself on another road where ripe pushes and motorcycles were moving in another direction.

In particular, the Dumper pilot, Azeem, escaped from the premises after the accident. In addition, the police and rescue teams are present at the scene and are busy cleaning the road.
