While highlighting the threat of terrorism supported by the State, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged respect for sovereignty, regional dialogue on Monday and a collective approach to the fight against terrorism, when he approached the 25th summit of the State Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin.

By reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and cooperation, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that SCO reflects Islamabad’s lasting determination to strengthen regional connectivity and collaboration.

Prime Minister Shehbaz has also called a complete dialogue to solve long -standing problems in South Asia. “Stability in Afghanistan remains in the interest of the whole region,” said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also condemned terrorism in all its forms and called terrorism sponsored by the State, saying: “Those who have long used terrorism to advance political interests must know that the world no longer buys this fictitious story”.

The Prime Minister also condemned the unjustified and unacceptable aggression against Iran by Israel.
On the role of China, Prime Minister Shehbaz congratulated President Xi Jinping’s leadership and added: “The success of China is a reflection of its visionary and wise leadership. His world leadership is obvious not only within the OCS, but in the main international initiatives. ”
He expressed his gratitude to President Xi Jinping and the Chinese government for exceptional hospitality and excellent arrangements.
Prime Minister Shehbaz described the Chinese-Pakistani Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a flagship project that illustrates mutual cooperation and regional development.
