ATC reserves verdict on Dr Yasmin’s plea

LAHORE:

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday reserved its verdict on a bail plea filed by PTI chief Dr Yasmin Rashid in a case relating to the burning of a police vehicle near Jinnah House during the May 9 violence.

ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings and reserved the verdict after the completion of arguments from both sides. The court said it would announce the decision on Wednesday.

During the hearing, lawyer Rana Mudassir Umar presented the arguments on behalf of Dr Yasmin.

The Sarwar Road police had filed a case against Dr Yasmin and others for setting fire to a police vehicle.
