The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant-General, General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, informed Wednesday that Indian air strikes martyred at least 31 years and injured 71 civilians and judged a strong response to what she described as “a barbaric assault”.

During a press conference, Lieutenant-General Chaudhry condemned Indian air strikes in the night of May 6 and 7. “Targeted with innocent children who were supposed to see the spring of life-can it be called counter-terrorism?” He said. “It’s terrorism, and we will respond with full force.”

In a press briefing earlier during the day, DG ISPR had declared that India had produced 24 air strikes in six different places within Pakistani territory.

He argued that the Pakistani forces responded by slaughtering five Indian fighter planes and a drone. “India misunderstandings will be corrected,” he said, promising that any future aggression would be filled with full force.

The slaughtered plane included three Rafale jets, a MIG-29, a su-series plane and an Israeli manufacturing drone. The jets were slaughtered in several places, including Bhatinda, Jammu, Akhoror, Srinagar and Avantipur.

A 7-year-old boy, Irtiza Abbas Turi, son of the Lieutenant-Colonel of the Pakistani army Zaheer Abbas Turi, was also martyred during the Indian air strikes last night.

The CEO ISPR added that the Indian forces also struck the mosques, desecrated the Holy Quran and deliberately targeted civilians. “What religion or humanity allows the desecration of places of worship and sacred texts?” questioned.

The military spokesperson displayed aerial images of destroyed Indian posts and a brigade seat through the control line (LOC), saying that Pakistan’s response was precise and only focused on military targets.

“When the enemy arrived armed, the brave Air Force of Pakistan killed modern fighter planes,” he said, adding that no personal Pakistani army was injured during the clashes.

According to the CEO ISPR, the Indian forces have raised white flags in several locals in the loc in response to pakistan reprisals.

The spokesperson also said that India’s actions endangered international civilian flights. “There were 67 passenger planes in the sky during Indian strikes, with hundreds of innocent people on board,” he said. “India has all endangered them because of its madness.”

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to national defense and civil security. “The Pakistani army will never compromise on public security,” he said. “The nation united behind the army and we salute their support.”

Earlier in the day, Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, said India had raised white flags along the control line (LOC), which he interpreted as an admission of defeat following recent hostilities between the two countries.
