Austin Butler sacrificed the skin and hair to bring Darren Aronofsky’s film Flying to life.
In the police comedy, Butler plays Hank Thompson, a former baseball player who has become a bartender who is involved in a dangerous situation when he looks at a neighbor’s cat.
“There is a time when I jump over a counter and I hit myself,” he said Weekly entertainment. “I opened my tibia on a metal thing that was on the other side, a metal wardrobe or something. This sharp metal part was there. So I opened myself.”
The nominated icar star has also undergone other injuries and bruises.
“They hung me out of a six-story window in the East Village all day on an arm,” he revealed. “It died a little.
Due to a point in the intrigue of the film, Butler also had to shave his hair in Mohawk.

“At the beginning, I felt a reluctance to shave my head in a Mohawk because I did not know what it would look like and my own feelings about what it was going to be,” he shared.
“When you shave your head for the first time, the physical feeling of the hair follicle is an incredible feeling,” added Austin.
