Australian basketball player injured after the hoop practice accident

Ben Griscti, who plays for the Australian professional male basketball team, Adelaide 36ers, is on the road to recovery after being on the point of reception of a panel panel accident during training.

The 36-year-old man ended up with a fractured vertebra after a panel panel collapsed after the dunk of a basketball colleague during the training last Saturday at the Australian Institute of Sport Arena in Canberra, confirmed the 36ers of Adelaide.

The injury forced Griscti at the touch for the start of the National League for the Australian Basketball League.

“Ben was injured when a panel collapsed on him during the team shooting at Ais Arena, before the last NBL Blitz game of the team,” a press release from Adelaide 36ers.

According to Australian Broadcasting Corporation, a hospital was located on a five -minute car trip to the arena, but it took about 90 minutes for an ambulance to arrive.

“There have been a number of other emergencies in the territory at the time of this call,” said an Ambulance Act department at the point of sale.

“As soon as we were able to send a paramedical crew to this patient, and they transported this patient to a stable state to the emergency department,” added the spokesperson.

PK Press Club Digital asked for comments from the Act Ambulance Service and the Australian Government Office for Sport, but did not immediately have a response.

The officials said Griscti was “aware, alert and respiratory” before and during hospital transport. The team doctor tends to graycti before the emergency intervention vehicle arrives at the arena.

The injury should not require surgery, the team said. Griscti has returned home since he suffered the fracture of the back. There is currently no calendar for the return from Griscti to hardwood.

“He returned home to Adélaïde and a calendar for him to return to court will not be fixed as long as he is unable to obtain other medical advice to determine the next steps around the management of the injury,” concluded the press release.

However, Griscti noted via an NBL social media account that he intended to “come back soon”. He also expressed his gratitude for “support messages”.

The NBL published a statement, in part saying that the league was “deeply saddened” after learning the injury of Griscti.
