Islamabad:
Friday, the Division of Flood Forecast (FFD) reported that a flood of low to medium was expected in the Jhelum and Chenab rivers in the next 24 hours.
According to the latest hydro-meteorological conditions, low-to-medium floods are expected in the Jhelum river in Mangla (upstream) and the Chenab river in Marala, Khanki and Qadirabad over the next 24 hours.
The authorities concerned were invited to remain vigilant and to take the necessary precautions to prevent potential risks.
Low villages could be affected even by an average level flood in rivers.
