A consensus has been reached in a seminar organized by Express Media Group according to which insurance awareness is very low in society. There is an urgent need for an awareness campaign concerning the insurance sector, which is very important and essential for the economic development of the country.
Nothing can be done without insurance all over the world, but in Pakistan, the importance and usefulness of insurance are not even discussed, although in the current era of inflation, insurance can considerably reduce financial loss. Thanks to the strengthening of an institution as the insurance mediator to protect consumer rights, the public can gain confidence in the insurance system.
The governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the main guest on occasion, said that there was an urgent need to strengthen institutions such as the mediator for the improvement of society and justice.
The seminar on “the importance of banking insurance and the role of the Insurance Ombudsman” was organized by Express Media Group in collaboration with TPL Insurance in Lahore.
The Governor, the Federal Insurance Ombudsman Mumtaz Ali Shah, the chief executive officer of TPL Insuration Muhammad Aminud Din and the Ombudsman Federal Insurance DG MUBASHIR SIDDIQIQUE office addressed to the seminar.
Governor Sardar Saleem Haider said that the federal insurance Ombudsman Mumtaz Ali Shah has excellent bureaucratic training and has rendered very important services in the Sindh.
The federal insurance mediator said that insurance does not matter that it should have in the country’s economy. In developed countries, insurance is considered to be very important and no work is done without it.
