- Ayaneo’s latest Windows laptop is Ayaneo 3
- Ayaneo is delivered with modular checks, a first on the market
- Its cheapest price is $ 700 and the most expensive is $ 1,800
Ayaneo has published a wide range of high quality portable game devices. Although the Chinese equipment company focuses mainly on laptops based on Android in 2024, it comes back to train with the new flagship port of view based in Windows revealed for the first time in November.
Ayaneo 3 is a direct sequel to its Ayaneo 2which was launched in February 2023 and was published as a rival of the Steam bridge. Not only does Ayaneo 3 improve specifications, but it also adds new features to improve the game experience.
In terms of specifications, there are two models to choose. The first is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor with eight hearts and 16 wires, 3.3 GHz clock speed and a 16 high NPU.
The second model includes the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with 12 cores and 24 threads, a basic clock speed of 2 GHz and an NPU at 50Tops. The first will be available in each configuration, except the RAM 4 TB, while the second starts at 32 GB instead of 16 GB and goes from there.
You can also choose between the 7 -inch and egg LCD screens for any model with different screens. The LCD screen has a cooling rate of 120 Hz / 60 Hz and is maximum at 500 nits. OLED has a refreshment of 144 HZ / 120Hz / 90Hz / 60Hz and Maxes at 800 Nits.
Why its modular controls are important
What really distinguishes the Ayaneo 3 from the others is its modular orders, which are specific to almost all the other other game games. Modular controls mean that the directional cushion, the analog stick and the buttons can be changed physically or Turn to offer a more customizable experience. This allows you to match controls to controllers like PlayStation and Xbox or create your own fighting stick for titles like Street Fighter 6.
The commands themselves are also decorated according to the specifications. Joysticks and triggers use hall effect sensors with a response time of 4 ms. The triggers also have two modes: linear mode, which gives you 7.5 mm of movement distance to allow a precise analog input and a touch mode, which reduces the trip to 3 mm for the repeated button pressures known in the FPS games.
Right now, you can support Ayaneo 3 in its crowdfunding Indiegogo campaign. The price varies from $ 700 for the 16 GB / 512 GB model without a full set of entry modules and $ 1,800 for the 64 GB / 4TB with a complete set. An additional set costs $ 100, while a backup storage housing – in starred black, white and retro – costs $ 33.
Although the higher price is an enticing quantity (and the lowest quantity is still nothing to sneeze), it is supposed to be a premium portable system with unique characteristics. Its sale argument is that its competition, such as the Steam bridge or the Lenovo Legion, cannot have it match in this direction. And if Ayaneo 3 finds its sole, it could carve a brand new niche on the Pocket Computer Market of Games.
