Azerbaijan to invest $ 2 billion in Pakistan

Pakistan and Azerbaijan in a major development signed a $ 2 billion investment in Pakistan on Friday.

The agreement reflected the continuous flow of investment in Pakistan under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In the presence of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Ishaq Dar and the Minister of Azerbaijani of the economy Mikayil Jabbarov signed the investment agreement of a total of $ 2 billion by Azerbaijan in the economic sector of Pakistan. The Pakistani delegation was also present on this occasion.

The agreement was signed between the two countries after a cordial meeting between the Prime Minister and President Azerbaijani Ilham Aliyev in Khankandi.

While the final and detailed agreement will be signed during the visit of President Azerbaijani in Pakistan.

The agreement has taken investments and trade relations between the two countries at a historic level. This agreement will prove to be an important step for an in -depth promotion of fraternal relations between the two countries and for the strengthening of the commercial partnership.
