NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said earlier in the week that he thought Bad Bunny understood the platform that came with the halftime show and that he hoped the entertainer would unite fans rather than cause further division. Former NFL star Robert Griffin III shared similar sentiments.
“One thing I know Bad Bunny can do is he can make us all tap our feet and shake our boots. I want him to go out there and unite people with music,” he told PK Press Club Digital Saturday night ahead of Sports Illustrated’s Super Bowl party. “Music that we can all dance to and enjoy. Just have a good time and do what you’re supposed to do, unite the world around something eternal. Music is the heartbeat of the world.”
