Balutchistan unveils a record budget of RS 1,028 billion

The Balutchistan government presented its very first surplus budget worth 1,028 billion rupees, marking a historic stage for the province.

The budget, presented by the provincial Minister of Finance Mir Shuaib Noshirovani, was announced during a session of the Balutchistan Assembly chaired by President Abdul Khaliq Achakzai.

In his budgetary speech, Minister Noshirovani said the provincial government had succeeded in spending the entire development budget for the current financial year.

He underlined the achievements in various sectors during the budgetary period, stressing that the emphasis put by the government on development had given positive results.

The Minister of Finance also noted that the proposed budget includes a surplus of 42 billion rupees. This marks an important achievement because Balutchistan has never presented a budget exceeding a rupee billion.
