After the massive success which was the Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 1, Dice has revealed new changes that he will add for weekends 2.
The studio revealed the details of a new blog, where he confirmed that he would make playlist adjustments in the 2 weekend for more varieties and choices, including the Warfare All-out playlist, which will include Breakthrough, Conquest and Rush game modes. You can consult the updated reading lists below.
“Rotation through several modes within the reading lists helps us to understand what our community appreciates while we feel the launch experience and allows us to keep more favorite modes of the fans available at the same time,” he said.
The second open beta version will also add a new personalized search function to give players more control over the selection of the card and the mode.
“This feature allows you to choose your favorite combinations of cards and modes,” said the post. “For example, if you want to play Conquest on Siege of Cairo, then the Matchmaking Hierarchire will place you in a match with this combo, if available. Note that this is not a server browser (which is not tested this week).
During open beta, personalized search will also be available for reading lists in open weapon mode, allowing players to mix and match cards and fashions as they wish.
In addition, training grounds will continue to offer the shooting field and gameplay introductions for courses, breakthroughs and conquest, and players in career 14 and below will be able to access the initiation mode, which includes AI soldiers.
“This initiation experience is adapted to new players and will go from breakthrough to conquest. Separately, there will also be a non -playable introduction to Rush,” said the developer.
DICE also confirmed that the BETA Open 2 weekend will start today, Thursday August 14 at 8:00 a.m. UTC / 1 H PT / 9 H BST.
The full game will be launched on October 10, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
