Michelle Beadle admitted to having been blinded by the news that one of Stephen A. Smith’s new programs, which will be launched in September, will take charge of her time slot on Siriusxm Mad Dog Radio Sports.
Beadle said that it was “a little embarrassing” to learn his program, “Beadle and Decker”, with Cody Decker, will not be broadcast at the same time from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. every day of the week due to Smith who joins the program’s rotation.
“Yeah, so the cat came out of the bag. I guess we are talking about it,” said Beadle during the episode of the show on Wednesday.

“We were not supposed to do so, just as a warning. We only made a few hours, but we have said no details. We were promised that no detail would be published. We did not even know who took our place in the programming, just that it was going to be announced that a new program was added.”
Beadle added that she had discovered what was going on through the details of the Hollywood Reporter on Smith joining Siriusxm.

“Without us, the Hollywood Reporter, of course, had all the details,” said Beadle. “So, it was a little annoying, I’m not going to lie. I have been in this business for more than 20 years. I was badly treated several times. It didn’t do me good, I’m not going to lie.”
During his stay in the air, Beadle never mentioned Smith, who works for his former employer, ESPN. Beadle hosted the network’s “NBA Countdown” before leaving the network in 2019.

Beadle is also the host of “Run It Back” by Fanduel TV, which is a program focused on the NBA.
Smith announced that he would join Siriusxm on a multi -year agreement during an appearance in “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday. He must start on September 2 with his sockets on the biggest sports subjects, while having a second show which will be his point of view on “current weekly events, pop culture” and more. This program has not yet been announced.
“To say that I am excited would be an understatement,” said Smith about his agreement with Siriusxm, according to the New York Post. “I have already been on Mad Dog, I had time for my life. So I like the fact that I could find my guy, Mad Dog, on her lawn. This, in itself, is a beautiful thing. But then adding a weekly program where I have a powerful platform to discuss rivet subjects in the world of pop culture, politics and social comment …
