Beatrice and Eugenie unite to protect Fergie

Sarah Ferguson receives a heartwarming offer from Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie

Sarah Ferguson has been approached financially by her two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as she looks for a new home in Britain.

Both princesses eventually came forward to protect their mother amid intense media scrutiny.

Fergie has no plans to leave the UK anytime soon as she is actively looking for her own property in the Windsor area.

A source said The times as Ferguson’s determination to stay in Britain, stating: “She wants to stay in the UK, ideally in the Windsor area, and she wants to have her own base so she can live independently and continue to pursue many activities like Sarah Ferguson.”

Ferguson’s two daughters extended offers of accommodation to their mother. Princess Beatrice has provided a granny annexe at her Cotswolds residence.

The annexe is a converted former cowshed on the grounds of the £3.75 million property, which has been stylishly renovated by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s design firm, Banda.

Princess Eugenie has meanwhile suggested her mother use her Portuguese holiday property for an occasional respite.

It comes as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor formally submitted notice to quit the Royal Lodge, although the required minimum period of 12 months means he remains in charge of the Windsor property throughout the coming year.

Andrew is reportedly moving out of the lavish property in the first three months of next year.
