Appearing in the episode of Tuesday of Watch todayWith Co-Star Jon Bernthal, Ben Affleck weighed on his linguistic skills and admitted to be in competition with one of his children.
When the host of the show asked Ben to comment on her viral moment 2023, which depicts his ability to communicate in Spanish, he made an interesting confession.
Savannah started the discussion saying: “I was told this morning that you are fluent in Spanish, and I just want to say that it’s really great.”
Ben mentioned his eldest child, purple, in response and said that she would be “dismayed” by her comments.
“My daughter is a student in Spanish and often competes with me – will tell me that hers is better than mine,” joked Ben.
He then explained: “And I am happy to have the chance to be on national television and claim victory. She will be dismayed.”
“But yes, I can talk about a little of Spanish, and it’s a good thing. I learned it when I was younger,” he admitted before starting a new subject.
