Assassin’s Creed Shadows disclosed a month before his release after some players received physical copies early.
Earlier this week, it was reported (via VGC) that the next Assassin’s Creed The title was already in nature after the fans discovered that some players broadcast the game and flee certain online elements.
A Reddit article currently doing the Tour offers screenshots from someone who was able to buy a PS5 physical copy of the game. They also offered proof of the game downloaded on their system as well as several photos of their playing like the One of the two playable protagonists, Nae, as well as their current loading and level.
The version laid down by the leak is apparently “a much older construction with any of the improvements added from delays”.
It is not known exactly how many copies have been disclosed, but it is said that some players were able to buy copies online from third sources. A user of the same Reddit wire was able to provide a screenshot of a Facebook market list, offering PS5 copies of the game for $ 100.
Ubisoft has since responded to leaks and said that any online shared sequence is not representative of the final product.
“We are aware that players have accessed Assassin’s Creed Shadows Before its official version, “said Ubisoft in a press release on X / Twitter.” The development team still works on fixes to prepare the experience for the launch and any online shared sequence does not represent the final quality of the game.
“Leaks are unhappy and can decrease the excitement for players. We ask you not to spoil the experience for others. Thank you to our community for having already taken measures to protect everyone from spoilers.”
Assassin’s Creed Shadowswhich was initially launched on November 12, 2024, was again delayed compared to its new release date on February 14, 2025 in January.
The game will now be launched on March 20, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
