Bhutto JR to launch the party, Slams ‘loot in people’s name’

Lahore:

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Junior, grandson of ex-PM Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, announced his intention to launch a new political party, committing to respond to the “real needs of the people”.

Speaking at a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Saturday, Bhutto Jr. said that the time had come to extend the political vision of his grandfather. “After Roti, Kapra Aur Makaan, people now need electricity, gas and water,” he said.

During the press conference on Saturday, Bhutto Jr also castigated President Asifi Ali Zardari, accusing him of coopting the emblematic slogan “Jeay Bhutto” to advance corruption rather than maintaining the inheritance of the Bhutto family.
