The young McCaffrey now follows his father’s footsteps, while he joined Butler’s staff in September 2024 as an assistant coach after having previously played a role as a basketball development coordinator with the NBA Indiana Pacers.
Being in Indianapolis made sense from the point of view of a couple, because Clark also played his fever games at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse – the same house as the Pacers. Clark became the recruit of the year of the WNBA 2024, breaking numerous recruits and league records in its first season.
