Pakistan’s Party President (PPP) (PPP) Party, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, threw the glove to India for his allegations related to the attack on Pahalgam, calling the government led by Modi to present evidence supporting his allegations against Pakistan.

“We [Pakistan] are not involved in this. If you have evidence, present it. Tell the people of Mirpur Khas that these terrorists are. We will catch them and hang them publicly in a Mirpur Khas field, “said the PPP chief during a public rally in the Sindh Mirpur Khas district on Thursday.

Bilawal, who was Minister of Foreign Affairs in the previous Government led by the PDM, said that Indian terrorism allegations were only an excuse while his real target was the Indus river.

The PPP chief referred to the punitive diplomatic measures of India, in particular the suspension of the Indus waters, the treatment in response to the attack on Pahalgam of April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), made 26 tourists.

The incident triggered tensions between the two nuclear arms nations with New Delhi connecting Islamabad to the attack without offering evidence, and took a burst of punitive measures to demarcate the links, in particular by suspending the Water Treaty, by revoking the visas of the Pakistani, and closing the passage to the Wagah-Attari border, among others.

Islamabad, in response, ordered the expulsion of Indian diplomats and military advisers, canceling visas for Indian nationals, with the exception of Sikhs pilgrims and closing the main border crossing on its side.

Pakistan also denied its involvement in the attack and proposed to participate in a credible and transparent investigation.

“They [Modi govt] be called Democrats [but] We will prove that they are extremists, “said the PPP chief, adding that India is not a peaceful country.

“We have to face Modi to save Sindhu [Indus River]”Added the PPP chief.
