Bilawal strikes the PM for the K-IV delay

Karachi:

The president of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto -Zardari, inaugurated on Tuesday the new channel of the new HUB – a Sindh government and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) project – aimed at treating chronic water shortages. The project will provide 100 million additional gallons per day to the metropolis.

The president of the PPP expressed a strong dissatisfaction concerning the prolonged delay in the completion of the K-IV MEGA Water project by the federal government. “It is unacceptable to operate with” Shehbaz Speed “for Lahore and to go to” Shehbaz Slow “for Karachi”, he pointed out.

He said the water shortage had been a long -standing problem for Karachi and was to be resolved as a priority. In addition to the construction of the new channel, the renovation of the old Hub channel was also underway, which would improve the supply of central district, District West and Keamari, while a PC-I was ready to extend the scope of the project in Lyari.

The President of the PPP said that he would resume with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif the question of non-private funds for Karachi development projects and urge the early completion of the K-IV program. He said he expected the Prime Minister to support Karachi’s development with the same emergency shown for Lahore.

Turning to India, Bilawal allegedly alleged that New Delhi was funding the BLA and Majeed brigade forbidden to shed the blood of innocent civilians. He accused India of plotting the share of the water from Pakistan, suspending the Industry Water Treaty in violation of international law and said that the Modi government intended to build dams and canals on the Indus River.
