Pakistan’s Party Party President (PPP) (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari issued a strong warning to the federal government, declaring that controversial channel projects could endanger the unity of the federation.
He demanded that the federal authorities withdraw the proposed initiatives of the canal or risk losing the support of the PPP in the ruling coalition, Express News reported.
Speaking on Friday during a public rally in Hyderabad, Bilawal congratulated his party for his recent electoral victory in Umerkot and praised Sindh’s people for continuing to stand with the inheritance of the late Benazir Bhutto.
“The inhabitants of the Sindh have once again proven that the arrow is their only mandate,” he said, referring to the PPP electoral symbol.
He criticized the management of Islamabad, declaring: “The inhabitants of the Sindh rejected the channel’s projects, but those of Islamabad remain blind and deaf to our voices. Out of six channels, two were approved by prisoner No. 420 “, a benchmark veiled to a political rival. “Whether clear-we oppose your project,” he said.
Bilawal stressed that the question of water distribution could threaten national cohesion. “We have made the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif not once, but twice. And now you think you can intimidate us with threats? ” questioned.
By making fun of the Muslim League of Pakistan-Nawaz (PML-N), he said that their projects constantly harm the agricultural sector. “Each initiative supported by the” Lion Party “is anti-agrandia. The wheat scandal has economically devastated our farmers,” he said. “They only bleed dry without offering real solutions.”
By reaffirming the position of his party, he said: “The government should not be under any illusion – I do not take a step back. I hold with the people. ” In a final warning, Bilawal said that the PPP would not be part of the coalition if the federal government does not withdraw controversial channel projects.
