Caroline du Nord Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick confirmed that the staff of the New England Patriots were excluded from the football program.
Belichick was Patriots’ head coach for 24 seasons, winning six Super Bowls. However, they missed the playoffs in each of the last three years of his mandate after Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay.

However, several reports indicated that the Director General of North Carolina, Michael Lombardi, and Pro Liaison Frantzy Jourdain informed their own team last month that the scouts were prohibited.
Belichick addressed the situation after winning the first college victory for his career.
“It is clear that I am not welcome in their facilities,” he told journalists, via Tar Heel Tribune. “So they are not welcome in ours. It’s quite simple.”
We do not know what has happened in the past few weeks that has led to an apparent bad blood between Belichick and the organization of the patriots. Belichick and the Patriots separated after the 2023 season with the two calling for the friendly decision.

The owner of the Patriots team, Robert Kraft, said earlier in the week that Belichick would get his own statue in front of Stade Gillette.
“When this large era ended, it was always my intention to order a statue for Tommy and Bill when their respective careers were finished, playing and training. When Bill’s coach career ends, we look forward to sitting with him and doing a statue to be right next to Tommy,” said Kraft News.
The current head coach of the Patriots, Mike Vrabel, made a crack concerning Belichick and the North Carolina by losing against TCU during an eruption during the first full week of the university football season. He said he didn’t know how much Belichick would be able to win, noting that urban Meyer won his first 12 games when he took over at the Ohio State.

For the moment, the staff of Tar Heels and Patriots will have to focus on their own teams.
