Bise Lahore issues new dates for reported matrix intermediary examinations

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Bise) Lahore has published a revised examination calendar for matrix and intermediate exams that were postponed earlier due to increased tensions between Pakistan and India.

According to a notification issued by the examination controller, matrix practical examinations initially set for May 7, including biology, IT and food and nutrition – will now be held on May 17.

The practical examinations scheduled for May 9, covering biology, IT and the drawing of the arts and the models, will now take place on May 24.

The Tarjuma-Tul-Quran-Ul-Majeed (compulsory) examination of Tarjuma-Tul-Quran-Ul-Majeed (compulsory) at the intermediate level, scheduled for May 9, will now be carried out on May 31.

In addition, the May 7 exams for Islamiyat studies and the principle of accounting were postponed to June 16.

Bise Lahore said that no new Roll number will be issued.

Students must appear for their exams using their existing slips in their previously assigned examination centers.

The advice advised all students to strictly respect the updated calendar and attend the exams in accordance with the revised calendar.
