Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni refuse to settle legal battle amid chaos

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have reportedly rejected settlement negotiations regarding their civil case and are now moving to trial.

Last week, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed 10 of Lively’s 13 complaints, including allegations of harassment and defamation, against her. It ends with us co-star and director.

Baldoni has denied all allegations made against him and his Wayfarer film studio.

Editors at Online mail reported that Lively and Baldoni remain on separate paths, even though Judge Liman asked them to notify the court of any settlement.

No agreement was reached during preliminary hearings and the trial is expected to begin on May 18.

The judge ruled, however, that Lively could not file a sexual harassment claim under federal law because she was an independent contractor on the film, nor could she file a harassment claim under California law because filming took place in New Jersey.

Only three complaints are pending: “breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation.”
