At least five people were killed and three others injured in an explosion Thursday near a taxi position in the refugee camp in Shaman, near the Pak-Afghan border.
The explosion occurred in a very frequented place near the border, an area frequented by travelers and residents. Eye witnesses described the explosion as intense, saying that it repercussions in the city and the surroundings, spreading the panic and fear of residents.
Emergency speakers, whose strength, body frontier (FC) levies and other members of security personnel, quickly reached the site and completed the area. The ambulances of neighboring government hospitals were sent to transport the deceased and injured to medical establishments.
The chief minister of Balutchistan, Sarfraz Bugti, ordered the law enforcement organizations to conduct a complete investigation and to submit a detailed report as soon as possible.
According to the department of the Maison du Baloutchistan, the explosion site was sealed, the specialized forensic teams currently collecting evidence. Although the exact nature of the explosion is under investigation, police sources said the first results suggest that it was a bombardment of suicide.
The Department of Origin has urged citizens to stay calm, to avoid sharing unaccompanied information or rumors and to cooperate fully with the law enforcement organizations. In response to the incident, security has been still tightened along the Pak-Afghan border.
PM condemns the explosion
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif firmly sentenced the explosion to Shaman, promising that the perpetrators of the heinous crime are brought to justice, according to a statement published by the Prime Minister’s office.
Expressing deep sadness and sorrow on the tragic loss of six precious lives in the incident, Shehbaz offered prayers for disappeared souls. He also prayed for the rapid recovery of the injured authorities and ordered the provision of the best possible medical care to the victims.
In addition, the PM has ordered an in -depth investigation to identify those responsible for the attack and called for strict action to ensure that they receive an exemplary sanction.
Addressing the current disorders in Balutchistan, he declared that those who propagated militancy in the province are enemies of its development and its prosperity. He swore that the harmful objectives of these elements would never be allowed to succeed.
