At least three people were killed and seven others injured Wednesday following an explosion in the Khuzdar region, officials said.

According to Express News, the explosion occurred near a college in the Nall region of Khuzdar because the authorities have confirmed deaths and victims.

The police said three people had been killed and seven other people were injured in the explosion. The bodies and the injured were transferred to the Nall hospital for treatment.

The authorities are currently working to determine the nature of the explosion.

The explosion occurred one day after the security forces managed to thwart an attack by Fitna al-Khawarij on the canton of Bannu, killing the 16 terrorists involved. In the confrontation, five soldiers kissed martyrdom, while 13 innocent civilians lost their lives and 32 others injured.

The ISPR reported that five brave soldiers had reached martyrdom in the confrontation, and the terrorists, in their despair, struck two vehicles loaded with explosives in the walls of the cantonment. The suicide bombings caused a part of the cantonment wall.

The ISPR has also called on the Afghan temporary government to prevent its territory from being used for attacks on Pakistan, saying that Pakistan reserves the right to take the necessary measures against threats from its borders.
