- Blink has launched a new version of his video bell at a budgetary price
- It lasts up to two years without replacing or recharging its batteries
- It is available in pre -order on Amazon now for delivery in August
Blink makes some of the best video bells and home security cameras that we have tested here in Techradar, and now he has launched a new version of his budget bell that can work up to two years without you needing to recharge or replace the batteries.
The new BLINK video door is expanding from three AA lithium batteries, as well as the nucleus of the Blink synchronization module, which also acts as a central center which connects your Blink devices to each other and your Wi-Fi network at home.
The new doorbell also has an improved field of vision of 150 degrees (improved by 135 horizontal degrees and 80 vertical degrees), a ratio of video aspect 1: 1 and an HD infrared night vision.
Like the previous model (which we examined in March), the new doorbell also offers a person detection if you have a blink subscription, and can be configured to send notifications to your phone if a person is identified (and not an animal or an object).
The new BLINK video doorbell is available in pre-order now on Amazon for £ 59.99 ($ 80 $ 8 $ 120 in) for delivery in August. International prices and release dates must still be confirmed.
Cameras flashed
The new Blink video bell is next to the Outdoor 4 and Blink Mini 2 blink, both of which have won a place in our overview of the best home safety cameras thanks to their impressive battery life and their affordable price labels.
If you want advanced features such as people detection, cloud storage and photo capture, the flashing plans start at $ 3 / £ 2.50 / $ 4.95 per month for a device, or $ 10 / £ 8 £ / $ 15 per month for unlimited devices.
