- The blue signature purifier looks like a stool and doubles an extra table
- Various customization options, including covers and colored feet
- It comes with auto, “ainsense” and nocturnal modes
Bluaire has just launched the largest air purifier I saw, and that made me ask me exactly why so many other models seem so ugly. Even in our own classification of air purifiers, you will find more than one clinical white plastic device – without a doubt an aesthetic that you will find in the living room or the bedrooms of many people.
On the other hand, the new blue signature looks like a piece of furniture, which is particularly suitable because it can also double – the top can be used as a table. (Those who are aware of the IKEA Starkvind Table-Cum-Airrifier must be reassured that it is a completely more successful, visually speaking) merger.
As standard, the blue signature is delivered with a pale or dark gray blue blanket, but you can pay an additional cost to unlock a range of other color options (including beige, taupe and dark green). You can also choose to add a metal rings base or truncated feet, the latter which really amplifies stool vibrations.
I wrote “Cover” at that time, but what I really wanted to say was “before the filter”, because this Wrapper is the first line of defense against particles in the air. It is machine washable, to keep it hygienic and operate effectively.
The brand likes this approach – the BlueAiir Blue Pure 411i Max and BlueIir Blue Pure Mini Max also have removable washable blankets which are available in different colors. It is a simple solution but I am a big fan; It means that BlueAir purifiers mix much more transparent in a domestic environment filled with other soft furnishings.
It’s time to refresh
And the features? The BlueAiir blue signature also looks strong there. There is a rather overwhelming seven-stage filter configuration, starting with this washable pre-filter, and including a particle filter and a carbon loaded by electrostatically to absorb gases and odors. BlueAiir has added “odorfence” a “bio-base patent technology” designed to decompose gases and eliminate odors more effectively.
My only slight concern is that the blue signature, like all bluaire purifiers, uses a “ hepasile “filter, rather than the real hepa (the brand insists that it is more effective than a hepa filter, as well as operating more quietly).
The interface on the purifier itself has been redesigned so that it counts the time to know when your air is clean. It looks like a touch screen, which I supposed could cause problems with the whole thing “double as a table”, but you can lock the display via the companion application so as not to end up changing your settings each time you go to lay your coffee.
You can adjust the speeds of the fans manually, but Bluaire has also included three special modes. In automatic mode, the purifier monitors air quality and responds to keep air clean. The more unusual is the ASIENSE mode, where the purifier turns on automatically at intervals throughout the day, even without drop in air quality, to maintain fresh air. Finally, there is a night mode that decreases LEDs and falls at the lowest fan speed.
The BlueAiir blue signature is available for purchase in the United States now. If you are heading to BlueAir.com, prices start at $ 449.99, but on Amazon, there is a limited discount to make it a little more affordable. It has not yet been released in the United Kingdom, but it should be sold in August. We have no details on prices yet, but if it complies with American prices, it could be around £ 330. We have just started to test it and we will have a complete review live alongside the British launch.
