Islamabad / Bannu:
A bomb exploded at the main door of the ancestral residence of the National Assembly (MNA) and special assistant to the Prime Minister, Mubarak Zeb, in the Bajaur district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement on his official account X on Wednesday, Zeb said that the explosion had targeted him and his family, confirming that no one had been injured.
He condemned the incident as a loose act and strongly declared that no one could demoralize it with these tactics.
“The main door of my house was exploded with a bomb,” he added.
Meanwhile, two terrorists were killed in an intense fire exchange with law enforcement organizations in the jurisdiction of the Maryan police station, Bannu. A police officer was also injured during the operation.
Depending on the details, the security forces launched a quick operation following information concerning the presence of terrorists in the region. On the instructions of RPO Bann, a heavy police contingent was sent to the scene.
