Boston College Eagles: former college football leaves a position 3 days after accepting a job

Matt McGloin, a former star of university football and quarter-rear of the NFL, was to be part of the Boston College coaches from 2025, but he suddenly resigned less than three days of work.

Boston College football coach Bill O’Brien told ESPN that McGloin had resigned from his post of offensive program for family reasons. McGloin was the quarter-back from Penn State in 2012, when O’Brien was the head coach.

McGloin published a decision on the decision. ESPN reported on Monday that he had been hired to be part of O’Brien’s staff.

“This week, I made a difficult decision that changes my life without mindfulness of the consequences she would have on my wife and my young children,” he said, via the Times-Distribune.

“I really thought that my decision to accept a role in Boston would be good for my family, but as soon as the calendar of such a decision turned out to be far from optimal. I appreciate your respect for the privacy of my family and me right now.”

He broke out during his senior season with 3,271 yards by the pass and 24 Touché passes.

McGloin joined the Oakland Raiders in 2013 and was with them for four seasons. He appeared in 13 games and succeeded 1,868 yards by the pass and 11 Touché passes.
