The former Boston Bruins star was questioned after the 6-2 victory of the panthers, if he ate a Dairy Queen blizzard. The panthers previously turned their heads after visiting a dairy queen in North Carolina while they stay near one while they visited Raleigh for matches 1 and 2.

“No chance that you aligned a blizzard there, right?” Asked the sports journalist Kyle Bukauskas, asked Marchand.

“Yeah, it’s a little blizzard of cookie paste with chocolate chips right there,” replied Marchand.

Florida’s head coach Paul Maurice seemed to question the merchant’s complaint.

“There are cameras everywhere, guy. We can no longer get away with anything,” said Maurice. “But it would be a good story.”

Marchand rented the restaurant for his choices of desserts.

“You can’t beat him. This is the best dessert in the world,” said Marchand. “So, I would better get a free supply of Dairy Queen now. Thank you, guys.”

Whether it is a dairy queen blizzard or not, the panthers have clicked in the STANLEY Cup qualifying series and reminded the NHL why they are the reigning champions.

Florida has outraged Carolina 16-4 in the series.
