The tensions between the legislators of the Treasury and the Opposition seemed to have reached a boiling point on Tuesday after an alleged aggression by an OPA of the opposition on a member of the Treasury, followed by reprisals of Tit-For-Tat by private guards of the treasury legislators against the opposition MPa.
While the procedure of the Chamber began on Tuesday under the president of the acting speaker, Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer, the benches of the treasure and the opposition united to call him the darkest day in the recent history of the Assembly, although each team has painted a different villain.
The treasure benches put the blame on the shoulders of the opposition, accusing its members of having initiated the shock, while the opposition pointed out of the fingers on the private guard of the treasure legislators, accusing them of storming the assembly and attacking the MPA of the opposition.
The members of the Treasury compared the behavior of the opposition to a replay of Chaos of May 9 at the Punjab Assembly, accusing them of Fanning. The opposition, in turn, instructed the treasure to panic by releasing the private muscle inside the house.
The deputy chief of the opposition, Muhammad Moeenuddin Riaz, demanded a rapid action, calling for an immediate suspension of Khalid Hassan Riaz of PML-N, to the recording of a FIR against the private guards accused of having physically attacked the legislators of the opposition and of launching an abusive language and of suspending the chief of security of the assembly so as not to stop entry into the attendants.
Defending the position of the Treasury, the provincial Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mian Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman said that the MPA Hassan Riaz was addressed to the chair when opposition legislators began to sing it and subsequently attacked it.
He recognized that the incident inside the media room justified an appropriate investigation.
However, he argued that if the FIR were to be deposited against those accused of having attacked the opposition, the cases should also be recorded against the opposition MPA responsible for the mooring of anarchy inside or outside the Chambers of the Assembly.
However, in the game of blame, the opposition seemed to hold the upper hand, building its argument around the involvement of the private guards in the fight and the suspension of its MPA, Sheikh Imtiaz, who had simply stressed the lack of quorum.
While the legislators of the Treasury have repeatedly denounced the opposition of the opposition, the deputy of the MPa Khalid Nisar Dogar against the Treasury MPa, Hassan Riaz and accused Sheikh Imtiaz of using an abusive language towards the interim speaker Channer, the opposition dismissed the allegations, insisting on the question was strictly in the four walls of the Chamber. The legislator of the Treasury, Hassan Riaz, boycotted the procedures of the Chamber about the appointment of the opposition MPA Mian Ijaz Shafi to the Committee formed to investigate the attack on individuals. He also demanded the Shafi suspension, saying that he was the real cause of the fight.
Meanwhile, the legislative of the Treasury Amina Perveen raised concerns concerning the delayed delivery of the Challans of traffic. She denounced that people receive obsolete Challans at home rather than receiving them in time.
