Brittney Griner went to the locker room earlier than the rest of his Atlanta Dream teammates on Wednesday.
The center of Atlanta was ejected after a referee whistled for two technical faults in the second period. Griner was penalized to compete and physically contact a game manager.
The dispute started after Griner tried to guarantee a rebound that was challenged by Dallas Wings Haley Jones goalkeeper. A fault was assigned to Griner, then she approached the referee.
