- Coros has launched a new repair program for its fitness trackers
- You can send your device and get a replacement in a week
- You will not receive your original device, but a renovated product instead
Coros clothes are popular with fitness fans, but when you are in the mountains or during the track, there is always a chance that you will end up damaging even the best race watch or the fitness tracker – and Coros has just announced a new repair program to set yourself, you quickly set your mobile phone.
The coros repair service will offer repairs in order to put you into action as quickly as possible. To this end, Coros says that “users can send a damaged device, pay nominal repair costs and receive a renovated replacement in a week.”
The repairs will cover a variety of problems you may encounter with your laptop, in particular to replace broken screens, buttons and digital dials. Battery replacements are also covered, says Coros.
The repair costs involved vary depending on the repairs of the product and what must be repaired. The cheapest option is to obtain a replacement battery for smart watches PACE 3 or PACE PRO, which costs $ 59. The most expensive repair concerns the screen, the dial or the Vertix 2 button, which will cost you $ 119.
How does the repair process work?
To start with a repair, you will have to go to Coros.com/repairs, then fill the details of your device and submit a request using the online form. You will then receive an email with a prepaid return label, after which you will have to select your device on the Coros website, pay for repair costs, then ship the defective product to the company.
Coros says that once it has received your defective device, it will send you a renovated replacement, which is delivered with a one -year warranty. Interestingly, it means that your original device will not be returned to you – it will be rather renovated and will be made available so that other users can buy. In place, you will receive a device already filled with the renovated stock of coros.
Coros says he adopts this approach to make you work earlier than possible if your original device was repaired and returned to you, which could take up to 30 days.
The company also claims that the shipment of bulk products to its repair plant is more affordable and durable than sending each device individually, which would probably occur if you were to recover your original device.
Thus, this new repair program could be useful if you want to get into action as soon as possible. Any fitness tracker can break, but if the minimization of downtime is important for you, the coros program could be interesting.
