Brooke Hogan, the daughter of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, was not present Tuesday at the private funeral of his father in Florida.
Instead, she chose to honor her in what she called “the most authentic way” she knew, looking at the sunset with her family.

Brooke, who is married to NHL player Steven Oleksy, went to social networks the same day as Hulk’s funeral to explain his decision to jump the intimate rally.

“My father hated the morbidity of the funeral. He didn’t want it. And although I know that people cry in many ways – and I am so grateful for all the celebrations and events organized to honor him, like his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and the most authentic so that I know how … private …
Brooke Hogan published a series of photos on her Instagram of her and Oleksy and their twins enjoying a sunset on the beach.
“Dad, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach and put them in the same salt waters as you love. Molly loved water. I think she will be a “little fish” as you call me.

Hulk died on July 24 After having undergone a heart attack at his home in Clearwater, Florida. He had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart disease that causes an irregular and rapid heart rate. He was 71 years old.
Brooke was far from his father in the last years of his life. After her death, she wrote a long and emotional tribute to her father in which she also clarified the complexity of their relationship.

Tuesday, close friends and a family gathered at the Indian Rocks Church, in the same place where the legend of the struggle was baptized in 2023, to honor it in a Private funeral service.
Wwe Icons like Paul “Triple H” Levesque and the former WWE co-PDG, Stephanie McMahon, were one of those who attended the service. Other celebrities, including Kid Rock, Bam Margera and others, have been seen.
