The Caroline’s panthers hoped that Bryce Young would spend the next stage of his second season, but it did not start the way he had hoped in 2024.
Like his campaign recruited in 2023, Young had trouble making everything in attack, and the Panthers seemed to go to another failed year.
Head coach Dave Canales made the call to Bench Young after only two weeks in favor of the veteran Andy Dalton, but Young had two choices: either let this come true or continue to work.

Young finally received his starting role in week 8, and he would not have it again abandoned for the rest of the year.

During these departures, while the Panthers went 3-6, Young launched 1,853 yards with 12 affected touches and a completion rate of 60.4%. If his averages were extrapolated during a season of 17 games, he would have thrown 3,500 yards, 23 affected and 11 interceptions.
During his last three games, two of which have resulted in victories, Young launched for a total of 612 yards (204.0 per average per game) without seven affected without interception.
“I think Bryce really showed his real colors last year and it was really impressive,” continued Olsen.
“I think that for the panthers who enter this year, I hope that it continues to improve and that they continue to build the list around him.”
The panthers were built around him, writing Tetairoa McMillan of Arizona in the first round to add a better hope receiver of the future to accompany Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette.
