The Karachi Secondary Education Board (BSEK) has announced the calendar for the next 9th and 10th year exams.
According to an official press release, exams will start on April 8, 2025.
A total of 375,000 students should participate in the exams, which take place in 499 Karachi exam centers. The list of these centers has been published on the official BSEK website.
The president of BSEK confirmed that all the students received computerized admission cards for the exams. The board of directors stressed that strict measures will be applied in examination centers, including a complete ban on mobile phones and electronic devices. All the gadgets found on the students will be confiscated by the staff of the exam.
The calendar of practical exams will be announced on a later date.
It is also important to note that the registration exam calendar was revised from its original dates of March due to the coincidence of exams with the sacred month of Ramadan. The Sindh government has updated the calendar to adapt to this.
In addition, the new academic session at the Sindh began today, April 7, 2025.
The new academic year for colleges will start on August 1, 2025, according to the official announcement. Winter and summer vacation schedules will remain unchanged.
Summer holidays are scheduled from June 1 to July 31, while winter holidays will be observed from December 22 to December 31.
