The chief minister of Balutchistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, ordered strict measures against government employees and officers involved in anti-state activities.
Chairing a high -level meeting on the other day, the chief minister ordered divisional commissioners and assistants to identify and act against civil servants engaged in activities that go against the interests of the State.
He clearly said that no government employees would be authorized to undermine state policies, warning that offenders would be treated accordingly.
During the meeting, officials provided a detailed briefing on the situation of public order and the provision of services throughout the province.
The chief minister reiterated that the maintenance of security and the maintenance of state authority were the priorities.
He stressed that no road would be authorized to be blocked and that each district officer was responsible for the guarantee of the police in his jurisdiction.
Addressing corruption within the organizations responsible for the application of laws, he said that extortion at the security control points would not be tolerated. Any officer found involved in such activities would be immediately withdrawn from his post.
He also pointed out that individual opinions should not pray over state policies, urging officers to comply with government directives or to withdraw voluntarily.
The chief minister has published directives to ensure that the national anthem is sung and that the Pakistani flag is hoisted in all educational establishments.
He warned that the heads of institutions who fail to enforce this practice should resign. He also stressed the need to engage the Baloutche youth in positive activities, declaring that deceiving them in unnecessary conflicts is useless.
The youth policy already approved, local officers were invited to promote education and employment possibilities to strengthen their link with the State.
“The government remains firm in its position against the elements contesting the authority of the State,” he said, stressing that membership of official policies is a fundamental duty of all civil servants.
Meanwhile, a FIR was recorded against Dr. Mahrang Baloch, head of the Baloch Yakjehti committee (BYC), as well as several other leaders and activists, in connection with the murder of three people during a demonstration in Quetta.
The case includes several sections of the anti-terrorism law and other legal provisions, police sources said. Until now, three cases have been deposited against BYC in Quetta.
Meanwhile, the demonstrations continue through Balutchistan against the arrests of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other BYC leaders.
On Sunday, a drop -down strike was observed for the second consecutive day in several cities, including Turbat, Mastung, Kalat, Kharan, Chagai and Panjgur. Turbat demonstrators have been putting a sit-in for two days, while the demonstrators blocked the Turbat-Karachi highway.
