Bunni, a decentralized exchange built on Uniswap V4 ‘, interrupted all the functions of intelligent contract after a safety breach has drained around $ 8.4 million in crypto.
The blockchain security company, Certik, said that the feat has targeted Bunnihub, Bunni’s main contract system, and resulted in $ 2.3 million in losses in Ethereum. An earlier attack on the UNISWAP LABS, Unichain UNISWAP network, increased total losses to around $ 8.4 million. The company retraced the stolen funds to two Ethereum portfolios.
Bunni developers suspended all contractual operations on supported networks while they are investigating the incident, according to an article on social networks.
“As a precaution, we have taken a break from all the functions of intelligent contract on all networks. Our team actively investigates and will soon provide updates. Thank you for your patience,” said Bunni.
The exchange operates on the “hooks” function of Uniswap V4, that the CEO of the UNISWAP Labs, Hayden Adams, described as “plugins to personalize how swimming pools, exchanges, costs and LP positions interact”.
